Looking
for a way to share photos of you and your fiance growing up? How about a way
to share your engagement pictures quickly and easily with your friends and family?
Or, after the wedding a way to share all the joy of the day with your guests
and those who could not be there on your special day?
If
you are searching for a way to do any of these things or just to share other
wedding-related photos, then I think you should check out the Bwedd.com photo
album. This being the Cost-Effective Bride Newsletter I would not want to recommend
anything to you that you put you over your budget or not be worth the cost of
the product. So, I will tell you the price right off the bat and then explain
to you why I think it is a great addition to your wedding, especially for the
price. And, I will give you some tips for scanning and saving your photos when
you are going to upload them to the internet.
So,
the price for the Bwedd.com wedding photo album is $13.49 - this gives you an
entire year of using your photo album and allows you to create an unlimited
amount of albums, each with an unlimited amount of photos in them. Now, I have
to tell you, there are places on the internet to get a free wedding website,
but none of these places allow you to share as many photos as you would like.
Each
Bwedd.com photo album also allows your guests to see the pictures within the
album in a slide show format. And, the photo managing tool allows you to:
Change the order of the photos within each album
Add a caption to each photo
Resize the width or height of your photos
Delete photos from your album
The
photo album manager allows you to:
Title each of your photo albums whatever you would like to name them
Create new photo albums
Edit the title of your existing photo albums
Delete photo albums
So,
why is this such a great addition to your wedding? Well, when your guests see
these photos and learn more about you as a couple, they will feel much more
involved in your wedding, and they will truly be excited to share in your day!
So often we don't look forward to going to weddings because we only know either
the bride or the groom and we don't know a lot about them as a couple. We just
happen to know their parents or are a relative of one of the couple. Wouldn't
it be nice for your guests to feel like they know both of you before possibly
ever meeting you?
Tips
for great online photos:
If you don't have a scanner or digital camera, be sure to get your photos
developed to a disk. These files can then be uploaded from your computer.
When scanning photos, set the dpi (dots per inch) to 150 - this is a compromise
between 72dpi which takes less long to upload, but is not as good of quality
and 300 dpi, which is very good quality, but could take very long to upload
- especially if you have a slow connection.
Use a photo editor to crop your photos and possibly even color correct them
before uploading them. Having lots of blank space around the main focus of
a picture will take up memory and be harder for people to see the focal point
of the photo. (By the way, most newer computers come with some sort of photo
editor or paint program, so do some digging in your programs file if you are
not sure.)
When uploading more than one photo at a time, be prepared to wait, especially
with slower connections. Don't worry though, it is worth the wait!
