"I have been searching the internet regarding wedding web pages, and I have to say that your site is the most impressive one I've seen. Once you see the site, you would never think it would be so easy to set up. I will definitely recommend this to some of my friends that will soon be future brides."

Personalized Wedding Maps

Making personalized wedding maps to your ceremony and reception locations does not have to be complex nor unnecessarily expensive.  You can make your own personalized wedding map relatively easily.  Here are some ideas to help you out:

Online Map-Maker
You can make your own personalized wedding map to send to your guests via e-mail with the help of an online map-making site.  Mapquest and Yahoo Maps are two of the most popular.  Simply enter the address of your ceremony as the beginning location and your reception as the end location.  Once the map is created you can send it to your wedding guests using the link provided on the website.

Create Your Own Personalized Wedding Map
You can also make your personalized wedding map by drawing the map yourself.  Begin by drawing a square on a piece of paper.  Label which way is North and then draw the streets to your ceremony, reception, and any other important locations. This is especially convenient when you live in a small town or are having a simple wedding (ceremony and reception at same location, for example).  If you don't think you are capable of drawing the map yourself, enlist the help of your friends or family.

Hire a Map-Maker
There are several companies who specialize in creating wedding maps.  They are not the least expensive way to go, but if you would like a quality, personalized, accurate map then it might be worth the money.  Here are some sites I found online that offer personalized wedding maps:

  • I Do Maps (around $170 for 200 maps; includes 7 locations on the map)
  • Wedding Maps (around $183 for 200 maps; includes 4 locations on the map)
  • Wedding Maps Company (around $184 for 200 maps; includes 4 locations on the map)
  • Custom Wedding Maps (around $178 for 200 maps; includes 3 locations on the map)
  • Mainstream Maps (around $160 for 200 maps; includes 1 location on the map)

I hope you will have a good experience creating your personalized wedding map!

Best Wishes,
Kelly Kons
